Welcome to the Back 40 Ranch House Grill. Our goal is to provide the best food and drinks possible, made with fresh, local ingredients from Heber and it’s surrounding valleys.
To start, we purchase whole cows from Circle Bar Ranch, located two pastures back. This beef is used in all our hamburgers, meat loaf, chili, and steaks. The remaining primal cuts are rotated through our daily specials. The Smoked Jalapeno Bacon Cheddar we use on our Back 40 Burger is provided from Heber Valley Cheese along with the White Cheddar used in our Mac and Cheese. It is an organic, non - GMO dairy, located only minutes from our restaurant in Midway, Utah.
The bun on the Back 40 Burger, Circle Bar burger, kids burger, and our hoagie rolls are all baked fresh daily by Stoneground Bakery located in Salt Lake City. Our brownies are all organic provided by Wetos in Heber. In addition, we also carry a gluten free hamburger bun and gluten free sourdough bread for substituting all your gluten free bread choices, baked locally at Good Grains Gluten Free Bakery located on 100 South in Heber.
The Apricot Jalapeno Preserves on the Pork Chop and Blood Orange Marmalade on the Salmon are provided by Pepper Lane Products located in Midway Utah. All our table salt as well as the salt we cook with is a sea salt, provided by Real Salt, located right here in Heber, Utah. Our Kombucha on draft is an all organic blend created in Ogden, Utah by Sϋnnte.
The water we use at the Back 40 comes from our own well that is over 200 ft. deep, sourced from an artesian aquifer. The water is so pure and clean we could bottle and sell it, but for you it’s free!
